Sneaky Redirect - a Black Hat Technique
Here I am going write about one of the black hat SEO technique which we should never practice. Sneaky redirect is an action that forwards a web user from one web page to another without the user knowledge. That is the visitor redirects to some other page which he does't want to go. The working of sneaky redirect is as follow.
1. Create a group of web pages concentrating on similar keywords
2. The only links on these pages are links to other pages in the same group creating a false sense of related linking.
3. Usually there will not be any content for the user it is designed for the search engines.
4. When we click on one of these pages from a search engine result, we will be redirected to another page with different materials.
That is the page you click on from the Search Engine result is not the page you actually want to read.
Example of one sneaky redirect is described below.
Placing different text in JavaScript for the users and different one behind the script for Search Engines. As Search Engines cannot read the script it will index the actual text behind the java script. So it is again misleading the users.
