Any one faced the issue like the Page Rank (PR) of your blog suddenly dropped but while checking the backlink count they are same as before. You haven't done any aggressive link building or any other black-hat SEO tricks to get google penalty. My friend faced the same issue like his blog's home page had PR 3 and suddenly it dropped to PR 0. The blog has high quality content rich articles without any duplicate content and the website design is also perfect. The only problem he pointed me is about the blog updation. He was daily updating the blog for first 6 months and then he stopped working on this. There was no more blog post updates and suddenly his blog lost PR. First we thought his blog faced google penalty for any mysterious reason. His blog traffic is same even after the PR loss ,so decides to resume his work on that blog and started updating new articles in it. Just after 1 month we again surprised , his blog got PR 2.

So now we are in a conclusion where PR of a website is purely depends on backlinks but for blogs google need us to keep the same frequency of post update. Any one faced this kind of experience before ?

My website is having high PR but it is not attracting enough traffic . Why? I faced this question from one of my friend. He owns a domain for last 5 years in health care niche. His home page has Page Rank 4 and most of his inner pages have PR 3 and PR 2, relatively nice statistics right ? But what he lacking is traffic. He is getting very few traffic to his website and he want to know the exact reason for that.

I checked his website. All the statistics he provided me are correct. It have good Page Rank and all the pages are indexed in google. URL structure , page allocation etc everything is so SEO friendly. But he did a mistake on his website. Do you know what is the mistake ? He didn't optimize his website for right keyword. Here I mean he failed to target high traffic keywords but he is targetting some useless keywords which have no demand. For me it was very easy to fix his problem. I asked him to add few more pages on his website with medium demand keywords in his niche. Then give links to these new pages from other high PR pages. I also created a new sitemap which includes the new pages and submitted in google webmaster tools. After few days he called me again to say thanks. Now his new pages are getting traffic from google.
