  3. Go to Administrative Tools and then select the option Event Viewer.

  6. If there is an error symbol next to any of the programs, this program could be the most possible cause behind the error. Re-install or do a repair installation of the program to fix the trouble.


Check Computer hardware

In order to find the status of each and every hardware devices installed on your computer, go to the Device Manager window. For this, select the Start menu and click Run. In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. This launches the Device Manager window. Look for the status of various hardware devices attached to the computer and find out if any devices show up errors. Reconnect the devices with error and reinstall their drivers.

Next step is to clean the tower fans. For this, open the tower and clean the fan. If your computer’s fan fails to work, it could result in overheating of the CPU, which in turn causes the operating system to shutdown. Therefore, clean the fan thoroughly.
